cylinder head work
ok after some delibration i want to take my cylinder head off and check it's overall health because i got a zero compression reading on one of the cylinders and i think it may be due to a bent or broken valve.
what are the items i should check once the head is off? just valves, valve stems, springs, retainers?
also what are the typical upgrades for a cylinder head? i know a port and polish will improve flow, i have also heard of a 3-angle valve job, new valves, springs, and retainers, and wonder if i should have these upgrades done. (i need as much flow as possible, i am looking to get as close as i can to 200 whp)
anyone that has upgrades their cylinder head, some insight would be appreciated! also what to look for, check once the cylinder head is off would help as well

Well, since you have to replace a valve, you will need a valve job. Take it to a machine shop and let them work their magic. Tell them you want the head pressure tested, valve job, and new valve seals. Should run around $250.
If you want to upgrade the springs and retainers, supply them to the machine shop.
