Just wondering of how many cars were stolen from Englishtown, or that weekend.
Like if u traveled, and ur car got stolen when ur at a hotel or something.

A good friend lost his teal hatch, H22 and a bunch of bolt ons from the hotel.

Before that, he got his LSVtec Turbo EF stolen form his house.Shitty luck, i know.

this is why I park in the pits even if Im not racing that day. the extra money is worth the relative safety. my ITR in the sea of dirt by the motocross track at etown doesnt stand a chance.

 

yeah it does suck real bad being his 2nd honda stolen.This hatch wasnt even that clean.
All stock exterior except for some black Rotas.

Hes got a nuekin mani and DP and a GT30R for the H22 sitting at his house.

I was so amazed about how many nice cars were in that shitty dirt lot, and thats why im asking.

 

Damn that sucks. This is something that worries me. I have an open trailer, what am I to do when I go to an event? Keep the car in the pits and go sleep in a hotel? Would the car be safe like that or do you have to sleep near it?

Try being in Cali. We usually sleep in the truck when we leave for an event. it sucks and is dirty but **** what do you do let a lowlife get away with 30,000 of your hard earned money or what. We all should do a big group buy with the Rhino company for there BOOT so the cars will stay on the trailor but then some idiots will try and take the whole truck with the trailor.

 

The boot would be great but those scumbags could still take parts right off the car.

 

You guys don't think they'd firgure out how to get pass the BOOT? If they are smart enough to steal a car in broad daylight right under your nose they'll get pass the BOOT.

I am sorry to hear about that guys bad luck but that ***** happens all over the place. Out here there are guys getting there RSX's & EP3's stolen and these cars all have OEM imoblizers. That's one of the reason my ECU goes with me anytime the car is out of my sight!

When I used to bring my ITR down there, I entered it as a show car and parked it right next to the stands. That... and I always had my little Kel-tec .32 on me.

Anyways I always worry about leaving the car on the trailer in the hotel parking lot. Nothing says feel free to take parts like a race car on a open trailer in a hotel parking lot all night.

But then whats the fun in tossing your money away at the casino when you can modify a car and kick some *** and have fun! There is a risk no matter what you do.

The only thing i heard about was that one kid yelling at security because his car was stolen. Its sad how bad its getting, people need to work and pay for their own sh*t instead of going the "easy" way out and doing a 5-finger discount. Its pathetic!

I hope there wasnt that many cars stolen and for those who's cars were stolen hope everything works out for you in the end!

 

It happens aaaall the time at Etown. If we don't take a regular car, we would park right below the bleachers where we're sitting or if we're racing, sleep in the truck with the car strapped down so if the truck moves, it'll wake us up. I can remember last year, there were at least 13 vehicles stolen.

 

Knowing full well that cars are targeted at these events, why don't someone just set up a sting and catch these guys in the act? Most of the time, it's the same group of people. After you catch them, just make sure they can't walk or breath under their own power, problem solved!

 

All of HT should do a group buy for the boot with hope to get a big discount from the venders.

i cant beleive my eyes when i pass these hotels its like people think you are b/sing them when ya tell them their shiz will get tooken from the parking lot.. i seen trailered cars parked and numerous cars with intercoolers in plain site you are crazy for leaving you car in a parking lot thinking it is safe ..but no matter what you say the very next event their will be the cars with intercoolers parked up in the lot and they will be tooken and the owner will be saying i cant beleive they took my car i had a alarm and boot
