Default Skunk2 SS install problem...help...

just installed my Skunk2 dual bend on my DC4, and now its hard to get into gear, and i have to force it in. i put the hardware that came with it on how i figured it should go. what could be the problem???

BTW... theres no rattle, or any noise that im hearing, so im pretty sure its not hitting the exhaust.

Did you grease the ball part of the shifter with lithium grease?

Your linkage might be binding somewhere too. Check and make sure everything is down tight and in the right place.

If you overtighten the thru-bolt on the bottom of the shifter, it can be hard to shift.
And you could have someone go thru the gears as you watch the bottom of the shifter to make sure there are no clearance issues.
