except for 1 thing. what do i do about that gaping hole where the headlight use to be w/ the constraint that the solution costs me $5 or less?

will blue tape hold up? do i have to whip out the fiberglass and fab? (god i hope not).

as much as i hate white vehicles, white bikes = cool

oh yah, forgive the michelin stickerage whilst the supercorsa's are mounted

and, i know how much /26 hates stickers, but they're strategically placed to hide blemishes from my less than professional rattlecan job...

why don't you just put the headlights back in and tape them up?
If they're out due to some kind of restriction then maybe get some chicken wire and blue tape and put blue-tape-chicken-wire behind them, so they have some strength.
I'm afraid blue tape alone will set you back more than $5

headlight was sold a couple of weeks ago, and i was going to fab a block off plate, but after all the wrenching, i've gotten lazy. chickenwire's a good idea though.

yeah blue tape is expensive, but i've got a roll on me already.

the creative dumbass in me wants to put a camera mount in there and get some lexan cut to protect it. though, prob don't have time for that before friday.

you would be my hero. that is such a crucial idea.

*business idea* fabricate and sell said kits. lol. kinda unrealistic, but it would be cool.

yeah it would be nice to not have the cluster in the way and hopefully less wind noise. there's a good amount of room in there, though not sure what it's like at full lock.

i think the less fabrication reliant way to do it is to get the clear plastic lens off of a set of headlights and just fab some brackets.

Funny, a group I know is going to buttonwiller that day too.

You don't need to make a fancy template. Just something strong enough so that the wind doesn't blow the poop out of your tape-job. Plus, it'll give the trackday organizers some place to stick the group/level-sticker on. You definitely don't want that ish on your windscreen.

My suggestion would be to use two square-ish pieces to block off the main headlight sections, and leave a gap in between to mount a bulletcam.

You're going to need something solid there as I can't imagine the pressure at speed that area will see. You might try some sheetmetal cut a bit larger and taped to the nose. It'll scuff the paint though.

I can't see your pic (damn work firewall). For temporary use, why don't you just use a thick a$$ piece of cardboard and tape from the inside and outside. It's more workable than sheet metal and won't scratch your sh*t up.

Buttonwillow is my favorite track that I have been to.

yeah, that's gonna be the finishing touch.

besides, gold matches better with the eventual color: black primer

Its ok. I like the Bwillow backwards. Flows much better. If you think Buttonwillow was good, you need to try Reno Fernley and Infineon...Buttonwillow doesn't even come close.

Then you may want to add to your list
1. crabs shampoo
2. antibiotics for gonorrhea
3. cure for aids

You'll be lucky if there isnt more after she gets out of her little jail sentence.
