i have a usdm 95 integra with the jdm itr conversion... however i dont have a hood latch because the cable isnt long enough b/c the latch is turned around... were can i find a longer cable or is there a diffrent route i can run my stock cable to get more slack?

 

Try the 90-93 Integra hood latch and hood latch cable. That should work. If not.. I believe you can use one from a 98-02 Honda Accord.

Should this be in the FAQ thread, seriously... It's a good question, easy fix, just comes up too much.

 

Yeah i had the same problem. you can use te DA integra or an accord, they work fine. acura sells them for $30 or at least were im at

 

da cable, 92-95 civic cable or 90-93 accord cables

 

yeah you need the JDM or DA cable and latch. I Have both for sale if you want.

we have conflicting statements? Which cables will work?

I know the DA will, But is it the 98-02 accord or the 90-93 accord or both. A 92-95 civic cable, thats the first time i've heard anything about using that one?

I need verification also, i'm about to paint my car and i'm pretty nuch fed up with openeing the hood with a screwdriver...

 

Hey dont feel bad about the screwdriver... LOL... I dont even got a latch i took it off and now i got some gay *** hood pins till i can get a long enough cable... If you know ne one interested the teg is up for sell $6500 obo lots of mods!
