my friend told me there is a grounding kit i can buy to help my car run smoother. me being lazy and all went to ebay and found one. im deciding to order it or not. also, i read on a forums that you can build your own out of amp wire. is that true? open to any suggestions

 

You could probably get scraps of 8 gauge or 4 gauge wire for free from an audio install place and just buy some matching ring terminals and make some grounding wires yourself. Whether they make a difference or not to you is entirely subjective...

 

haha, don't make your own. I just used Nology ground straps from performancedepot.com. Yes, there are some neat engine ground kits that originate from the battery.

 

Autozone. Cheap and the same ****.

 

How about just clean the ones you got from teh factory? They did a nice job when your car rolled off the showroom floor...
