Default alright so basic boltons...

hey guys, i need your help again! i own a dc5 (base model) and im at 160 at the crank, welll if i were to add intake, headers, and full catback, aloing with a reflash and LSD, how much power would i b able to make at the wheels? also, what cars could i even consider beating? could i have witha type s? thanks for you input guys! by the way this is just for now, i wont b boostin til awhile so this is just gonna have to do!

is it auto?
you may have a chance against the 02-04 type-s (stock)
not too much so for the 05-06s
just a guess

i look at it like, if your focusing on 160 crank
will i/h/e and reflash give you 40hp?

no, its a 5spd, yeah, im just wondering would it be a good spener for just going n/a? striving to go against an a2 in my a3 has kinda been my goal, i just wanna know if i can at least make decent power with just the setup i named out

honestly, i wouldn't bother doing a n/a a3
boosted for those motors is were its at

i mean, with those mods listed it would cost you what?
near 2 grand...
about half way there to a nice turbo-kit that would keep most n/a type-s' in check

Of course you "can" beat any car, but...lots of things play a huge role...you "can" win if a type S mis-shifts or doesn't know how to launch and peels out as you take off...

On the other hand Aco512 is correct, it is better to swap, sc or turbo...

sc on a base rsx motor will barely keep up with a type-s (i put about a car length on a jrsc'd ep3). i would honestly drop a k24 in there and build that

Was it a Racing or Street JRSC?
