Just finished putting a B18 into my si hatchy, but when I crank it , it fires up for about a second or two and then it dies out, it keeps doing the same thing over and over. Do I need to change anything around in the harness. ( Please help all advices will be greatly appreciated).
If you just did the swap check all your vacuume hoses and make sure you don't have any big ones, like the brake line off. Hopefully it will be something easy like that. You can also check you idle air control valve or throttle position sensor. I'm not sure about the electricals but you might want to check the wiring on your distributor, especially with the igniter (sp?). I'm currently having a problem on another swap that seems to be pointing to that area. If you figure this one out please post back your results.

I checked all the hoses, wiring and it seems that the injectors arn't receiving any voltage so I replace the main relay, ecu. then I notice that the main relay is not clicking when I turn the ignition switch.

When I first put the engine in I damaged the stock si engine harness and replaced it with a 89 to 91 sedan engine harness. Is there a difference or are they both the same wiring?
There could be a difference. If the donor harness came from a dpfi car and not an mpfi car then you'll have to do wiring changes. You should've noticed that right off the bat so I don't think that is a problem.
This may be the problem: resistor box & injectors. If you're using the injectors that came with your new engine then you'll have to remove the resistor box. You should be able to google or search the forum for how to do this. Basically you'll have to take the resistor box out and then match the wires up on either side of the box (red to red, etc). Injectors that come on newer engines have a different resistance than the older ones from the EF cars. This may be your problem as the voltage may be reduced too much.
Good luck!

What year was the sedan you took the harness off and what year is the car that you have the b18 in? 88-89 harness is different than the 90-91 harness. That could be your problem.
