Default car toruble!

i was driving on my way to work this morning, and i noticed that the car would not accelerate when i pressed on the gas pedal on several occasions. it felt like when the car is running out of gas, but i had a half tank. i went on the express way and everything was fine. on my way back, i noticed it did in 3rd gear and thought my tranny was bad. also it only happens within the first 10-15 minutes i start the car. i doubt it that its the tranny, can it maybe be the injectors? btw, it is a stock 1992 Civic hatch dx. thanks

Are you getting any CEL's. My car used to go into limp mode sometimes when i was hitting VTEC, and id be in VTEC, in say second gear, and then it would start decelerating, even with my foot to the floor, back to a limiter of about 5100 RPM.
