Default Which one is the best rear sway bar(post pics)?

Well, I'm want to get a reay sway bar, but need some advice and some pics.

I'm thinking of the Progress sway/tie bar:

...or the ITR:

Show your pics.

Thanks in advance guys.

...and when you put the Progress sway/tie bar does the tie bar part of it bolt in place where the stock one goes replacing it?

we don't have a stock tie bar if thats what your asking
a tie bar is more for show
i don't think its worth upgrading to the itr unless you want just a tiny tiny less "push"
i have the 24mm progress sway/tie and its great
the only think i dislike about it is that it makes noises over speedbumps
sounds like i have styrofoam in my trunk
i'm going to try to put some white grease on it to see if that helps, if not
i'm going to sell it

ITR FTW. It's a all around good sway bar that makes your car drive totally different. Much more balanced and it looks stock. I had one and it was great. no maintence issues at all.

Comptech Combo is crazy expensive, but looks great and from looks of it probably works the best, but to much then I'm looking to spend on sway.

ACO512, I'll probably stick with the smaller one, 22mm I believe, so the clearence is fine.

The ITR one is nice, but I want an after market look. It's the price that's attracting me though.

That's what I'm thinking, plus the 22mm I don't think will have clearence issues with exhaust or anything rubbing on it.

isn't the stock sway 21mm on the 05-06?

I think so because there wouldn't be an after market replacment with stock mm size. Yeah, the 22mm progress is only 1mm bigger. I just don't want the clearence issues and it'll still stiffen up the ride and make the *** look nice with the progress tie.

For the price you can't beat it. If you look at a mugen one and an ITR one from far you can't even tell the difference. Just when you closely look at it you can tell it's bigger. Function over fashion.

Yeah, but 600 is to much for me for a sway

That's what I was going to do is first find a used one. $75 that's a hell of a good price. Very nice find.

Is it possible for you to post a pic of it on your ride? I want to see how it looks under and from a little further away.

Although i run the Progress rear sway, i am kinda worried about it.

I recently sheared a mounting bracket OFF.

I would stick with the OEM brackets and run the ITR 22mm.

heres a link to picks of how i murdered the rear bracket.

The em2 rear sway is the same as the RSX. 22mm and tie bar.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1969012

But i do believe the problem was due to their " adapter kit" for em2's without the stock rear sway, not the bracket itself.

progress sways have been known to not fit with some aftermarket exhausts. i'd be careful about that with your skunk2

That's why I want to get the 22mm cause I havn't heard of fit issues with that one compared to the 24mm.

Sold my comptech adjustable/sway to NTCustoms here.
Kinda regret it lol.

Perfect fitment. flawless, VERY few have them. Since cost was like $700 plus shipping.

Now I just installed progress 24mm today, clears comptech catback, no noise, nothing so far.
For the price, you can't beat, under $200 shipped.

Yea, I also painted low tie bar black, don't like to deal with socal cops..

I'm happy with my Mugen 25mm rear sway. Made quite a difference. But since you already have a oem 21mm, the JDM bar isn't much of an upgrade.

You're right I never see the comptech sway talked about or on cars. If not for the price I'd be all over it.

So your saying to go for the 24mm instead of the 22mm? I wouldn't be able to deal with it if the 24mm made sounds cause of clearence.

yup, i have his bar! i love it. just make sure if you get the 24mm that it will clear your exhaust first, because different exhausts dont always follow the same bends
