okay. i just recently bought another 89 crx si and the guy i got it from didnt have the windshield on. he gave me one and all i needed to do was reinstall it. my question is HOW DO I INSTALL IT IN? any help would be greatful. Thanks
dont do what i tell you cause ive never done it and if it falls out its not my fault. but ive seen it done and you use the caulking stuff im sure theres a special kind for it but it looks like caulking for home stuff. then put the window in but you gota tape the top of it to the roof till it dries cause it will slide down.
Call a glass shop and have them come out and install it. It's cheap and it is far less likely to leak. They use a urethane to install the windshield, you could probably score some at a local auto body supply house.
I think it costs more for the seal than the actual labor to install the glass.
If you live near a body shop and can get the car and glass down there, typically a glass guy comes a couple of times per week. May get a better deal.

around here new window trim was more than the windsheild and the labor to install it was 50 bucks. which i put my own in it wasnt that bad at all just make sure you have unbroken clips on the bottom and tape it up good when your finished
