I am not an expert but is there some sort of factor that keeps you from doing this. Drilling 4 more lugs and making type r wheels a universal 4 lug wheel?

If it was possible, you would lose structural integrity of the rim. I highly don't recommend doing it, and would highly recommend that you convert to 4x114.3.

Agreed...

Convert to 4x114, find some knockoffs or find another wheel.

in the past i have seen expensive aftermarket wheels stripped down to bare metal and the stock holes welded then the wheels were re drilled for another bolt pattern and powder coated. With precision craftmanship I wouldn't see why it couldnt be done.

If you're going to be ghetto, just paint some HX's white.

I can easily see that costing more than a 4x114 swap.

I agree. The cost would outweigh the benefit here. In the case Im speaking about was in the late 90's where a race team was competeing with a Pontiac Sunfire GT, and the wheels they wanted to use didnt come in the offset AND bolt pattern they needed. So they did what I had mentioned.

yes, common sense.

if you cant afford a 4x114 swap, <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Eran &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">just paint some HX's white.</TD></TR></TABLE> and save up
