Default RMS gsr from hell finally done!

Well........as promised the gsr has our kit on it! This install couldnt have gone any worse lol. Everything was rusted together, dp bolts rusted in turbo, ic piping all kinds of different sizes etc etc......after 5 long nights we finished it up. I fabbed up the 2.5" ic piping, hot and cold side, manifold obviously, full 3" dp, dumptube, and we put a new oil return on. Here are the pics!

Old stuff

Dumptube

3" dp

Cold side piping

Last but no least the manifold

Alright guys........heres our new divided top mount t4 for the crx/ef!! Took me 12 hrs to tack up, jared you better F*^(^* love it!!

Also, going to be a 4" dp and twin 44's going on next.....stay tuned

thats a nice upgrade of what you had prior. def a good job on the welds and the polishing. looks like you used allot of elbow grease on that mani and dumptube.

Our manifold/dps/dumptubes all get the same amount of love! WE dont charge extra for polishings its standard. The previous setup was some no name log manifold, precision 57 trim, 2.5" dp, all nicely rusted together. This is a COMPLETELY stock gsr on 10lbs tuned on crome. We never had a previous dyno or do we have one now cuz it was street tuned again but ill let the owner chime in on what he thinks of the new setup.......im def happy with it tho. Next up, gt42 crx......

Old setup was Spoolin' Performance Log and 2.5 DP. It did the job, see inexpensive, I just had big problems with the exhaust bolts backing out..hence the darkness all over my block. Anyhow...I had the car street-tuned again at ~8 PSI. Its definately quicker and more important the power is nice and smooth coming on (this on ~2 psi less and WITH a 3" Catco cat). Overall I'm very happy with it. Even during regular driving its a lot more responsive.

If you've ever seen any OEM garrett turbos (like saab/volvo) you'll see they sometimes put a strip of sheet metal under the chra bolts (1 per 2 bolts) and bend the tips around the bolt heads like 2 hands cupping big *******. Thats also what you'll see on many OHV V8 cams, an $8 kit keeping the bolts from backing off the chain gear on the cam.

The new setup looks much cleaner than the old. Any estimation based on the fuel maps old/new to how much more HP the ramhorn brings?

Thank you very much deliveryman....i pride myself in showing all the details of my work. Its kinda a blessing and a curse being a perfectionist when it comes to fabricating. But attention to detail is what sets my work apart. I have no shame in showing every nook and cranny of my work on here. I have noticed that many of the people on here who sell manifolds dont let you look close until you buy it!! Being a budget honda enthusiast for the last few years I was always dissapointed when i bought manifolds how poorly they were welded.....now i can do something about it! Thx

Is the compressor going to clear the sheetmetal around the head light housing?

thats a ton of flipping welds on the #1 runner, but good work nontheless.
