40k mile on odo, 113k on car, Problems?
I installed an ex cluster in my dx hatch and the mileage doesnt match. I don't wanna roll it to match because i dont wanna take the chance of it breaking. If I was to leave it in like this, would i have any problems with smog checking/honda servicing/etc.. and do they write down your mileage?

Only problem you'll run into is if you take it to a dealership.
Other than that, no.
Although I don't speak for cali, they got some pretty messed up vehicle laws...

gonna show a potential problem for carfax. im not sure how inspections go, but it may raise a question.
im doing the same thing and im either gonna switch the odometers between the stock cluster and ex one. or just switch to the old cluster when its time for inspections. im not planning on keeping the car and eventually building it into a track car so i dont have to worry about mileage problems and reselling

Exactly. The spedometer/odometer portions are identical. Switch out your spedometers, and you'll be golden. That's how I have an EX cluster with my stock mileage.
