Default IGNITION PUSH START BUTTON

Anyone have a Ignition Push Start Button in their Type-R.

If so was it easy to install.

Where are some places you installed yours at?

^ It's funny, I was thinking about how well that would fit just the other day. Must look good.

Well how do you think the s2000 starts you still need the key to turn it on? It is a look thing. But damn it looks good.

I think it looks sick. Plus the one from IGNITED PERFORMANCES has one that luminates red which is great for my black with red accent for the look of my car.

i did it cuz i got the button for next to nothing since i pay cost for my oem parts.. and it looked better than the plug that was in its place.

p.s. excuse the innvovate wideband cable.. i have been monitoring my afr's with the shitty 90 oct pump gas we have up here in ak.

and yes you still have to turn the key to the on position but you had to do the same with an s2k as well... bling factor more than anything

I'm with the guy that said it's one extra step too many... Now imagine if it was like the Acura RL's RF Key fob and you kept the keys in your pocket

1. I have one and its hell of cool
2. You still need a key to turn on the ignition
3. A lot of the newer Honda's (and copy-cat Toy Yoda's) come with them standard now.

That was written ~7 years ago.

Tip - go cut the lead out of an old computer for an "A:". The pins fit in nicely & then you have wire leads to work with. MUCH easier than working with the pins on your start button individually.

Tip - if you don't use a relay, you will burn out your start button.
