do i sand after every coat or only between colors?

 

Are you painting or what? Don't understand the question
Is this a $50 paint Q?

 

i am painting rattle can but i need to know fi i should sand after ever coat or just before i change paints like primer sand paint sand clear sand or do i coat 1 primer sand coat 2 sand coat 3 sand coat 1 paint sand etc,

Couldn't tell ya, I have never painted anything that has ever required me to wetsand with a spraycan. Rims, and misc. parts always come out looking good. I always use a gun when spraying a car.

 

plz dont rattle can your car, i did it and i regret it!!!!

its a PITA to get off and unless your 100% sure your not going to repaint it


then no you dont have to sand every coat unless you have massive orange peel


do like 3 coats sand then 2-3 more coats then wet sand to make it shinny

unless your going flat then jsut do liek 4-5 coats and your done

 

i know it's a pita to take off but i'd prob just grind it off anyways. plus i think it came out liek ****. but i needed to finidh it tonite gf won't drive without it and i don't have my lincese so i can play with the devil like that so i kinda hurryed the prep process. but o well. i took pics but don't have a digi so i'll have to finish off the camera and post pics but i will once i get them deloveped. yes walmart still does it lol.

Usually when things are rushed, they come out looking like ****. Can't believe your gf would even drive it with a rattle can job. Better off preping the car and taking it to Macco.

 

well it's finidhed and on the car. now all you guys have to remember is the colors are what she wanted and she created it. yes your see. i have a small digi aroudn i'll try to find it tomorrow and take sum pics and download them for you guys
