Default inlet manifold swap help./info/advice.!

Hey guys,

Just picked up a Skunk2 Inlet manifold for my car,

car is 1990 Civic EF9.

B16a1 motor OBD-0

now, will it be a easy swap? unbolt old manifold and replace with new Skunk mani?

has anyone done this swap? can you offer insight?

TIA.

About sums it up. Forgive the ignorance, but in NZ it is RHD or LHD?

I think you might need a new fuel rail

sums it up right there. mark all of your vacuum lines and see where they go on the factory manifold. so when you switch them over, it'll be much easier.

I couldnt use the factory rail on my aebs manifold. The obdo b16's had different shaped rails because the air temp sensor was in a different runner, if the temp sensor was used on the new manifold in the new location the obdo rail would hit it. I just got a stock 99 si rail off ebay for like five bucks that fixed the problem, not sure if skunk2 are like that but they might be

i was able to use a factory fuel rail with my AEBS. you are correct about the air temp sensor though. the plug wouldnt clip in, but it would slide on snugly. i eventually bought a STR fuel rail.

skunk2 will have NO problems. i have a factory fuel rail bolted up right now, doesnt interfere with anything.

i have an obd-1 GSR fuel rail.... and like an idiot i bought an ITR fuel rail assuming it looked like the 99-00 civic si fuel rail, nah.... its exactly like the GSR rail. wasted my cash.
