Default Auto to manual swap completed...daaaaaamn

Alright, so my swap was done a couple days ago....it was running off of the auto ECU. Well, today I had the keys reprogrammed to the manual ECU and daaaaaaaaaamn...that's all I have to say. The car is 20x faster than the auto, and can you say VTEC?? Maybe it's just higher end torque, but that shiz pulls like a SOB from 4-6k. The only thing is my VSS isn't working, or wired right. I was sold the wrong harness (ULEV) and basically the whole car had to be "hardwired".

I stepped on it a few times just to feel (still breaking in the clutch) and it hauled major ***.

Auto to manual =

This may seem like a pointless post, but I'm just pretty stoked, and for anyone thinking about an auto to manual swap....I say DO IT

I was thinking of doing an H22 swap but the auto to manual was just fine. It is a lot faster. It is the 6th gen Accord, so you will be dippin a lot faster due to your weight difference + H22 motor. You will like it a lot

Thanks bro. There was a problem with the temp gauge not reading but I had that hardwired in so it's good to go Only thing is the speed sensor now. Once that's done I'll make some videos.

probably more than it would cost to strip any mods on your current car, sell it, and buy a factory 5 speed

Cuz that's always an easy and available option for everyone...

Actually the 5 speed is hard to come by here. Every 6th gen I see is an automatic. The dealerships don't even carry manuals unless it's the new hatchback Civic (which is super gay IMO)
