Need Help Please Car will not start!!!!!!!
To make along story short my car (00 Si) was stolen three months ago and it was recovered with the engine blown. Insurance company put a salvaged engine in it and everything was running good. Last night I stayed at my girls house where it was stolen from and as a precaution I pulled the plug wires. Put them back on this morning and had 2 and 4 flipped flopped and didn't realize it and went to start it. Of course I realized and switched them back. Put the key in the ignition and turned to aux and nothing happened. No gauge lights, no fuel pump, lights, windows etc. Looked around the engine bay and notice a connection to the starter silenoid looked weird so I wiggled it and pushed it in. Go to turn it on aux and everything seems to work so I go to crank it and the silenoid kicked and that was it, try again, same thing as before nothing was working. Mess with selinoid wire agian and same thing, everting works but when I turn it over same thing. Now I can't get it to do anything. Please Help
Check the starter wires, sounds like they are the problem. Make sure they don't have any breaks and that the little ground stays on there. I had that one come off on me too, while I was a few states away, and it scared the **** out of me.
Yes I pulled the plug wires out meaning completly out of the car. They are definatly put bake in the right postion for the firing order. 1-3-4-2 clockwise. Even if they werent in correct postion I should have power to everything else.
