thats wierd, a stock b16 manifold should clear.

if not, you can either hack it (not recommended), go with and innovative mounts crossmember, or get a traction bar system.

do some research with the search button up top. make sure you choose the archived option when you are seraching.

good luck

No, start hacking.

It's just to big stock X member to fit any header in there, heck some people even need to just for an oem b16 exhaust mani.

There was like none of mine left before I upgraded my X member lol.

lol im with streetwerkz. shame on you. but if you have nice tough poly mounts and want to drive the car cut that piece off if you planning on replacing it anyways. btw, that mount is NOT integral to the motors movement in the engine bay. have you seen the size of the stocker???its TEENY!!! cut it and dont worry. or buy an aftermarket.

I don’t know whats up with your header but, it looks like from the pict that your motor is sitting too far forward when ive swapped out an EF even with a b20 ive never had a problem with the header clearance id look in to those mounts and see if any one has had similar problems. Sorry I couldn’t be of more of a help.

no there not those look like itr/4-1 after market headers if they were stock B16A headers they would have 1 or 2 O2 sensors on the upper header. but the one above it is. Good try tho.

when i used hasport mounts all i had to do was just bend down the pinch weld on crossmember to clear a 4 into 1 header

i would hack and hammer to get it back on the road for the time being

ya..i was talkign about the last picture not the stock manifold in that last picture it looks like there was way more cutting then was necessary. i would rather cut or hammer the lip down then cut half the thing out. or get an aftermarket x member.
