Default Few problems with my 88 ED LX

I just bought an 88 Civic Sedan LX Auto two weeks ago. It has a few issues.

1. Temp sensor on the cluster goes all the way to red upon ignition key being turned to Acc. When I start it, it stays up there. I am afraid it is not good on my car. Is it?? How can I fix the problem??

2. At a stop light, when I try to accelerate from the light, there is a hesitation, and the car falls flat on its face, then when I slowly accelerate, it runs like normal. WTF?? I did a valve adjust, and it runs alot better, and only does it ever so slightly now. Could I have a problematic injector?? No CEL's.

3. When stopped in traffic, the car has a slightly rough idle and sometimes "jumps" like it wants to go and then the idle goes down, then back to normal for a second, then it does it again. If I put the trans in Neutral, it idles perfect. WTF??

4. I need to replace my front and rear seats, really badly. I heard 94-97 Acura Integra Sedan rear seats bolt right in, but do they really?? Also, what front seats bolt right in or bolt in with slight modifying??

5. What recommendations do you guys give me on suspension setups? I am rocking some off brand coilovers right now, with new struts. Should I fork out the cash for Omni's or K-Sports??

6. I need a stereo deck for my car too, would an Integra CD player work or would I have to get a jumper harness or modify mine or what should I do?? I do not want an aftermarket cd player. Stock is less likely to be stolen in my area.

Thanks for your help.

your answers in order.
1. your temp sensor is a thermistor, or NTC as techs call it. it changes resistance with temperature, a shorted one will send the temp all the way up to "H" and stay there. get a new temp sending unit.
2. make sure your "hesitation" isnt because of a misadjusted tps or shift cable. it is an auto, so check the egr valve also. and for ***** and giggles also take out the pcv. valve and make sure its rattling and not stuck. ALSO seafoam helps man, run it through the cars intake manifold. dont hydrolock it though.\
3. ok turn your idle screw up. do this. unplug the iac in the back of the intake manifold (it will be a plug in the VERY back by the firewall and it will be hard to get to. unplug it and adjust the idle to 1500rpms. then reconnect voila!! or easy way is to turn on lights and a/c , put the car in drive (you need a buddy) while keeping it in drive adjust the idle screw on the TB to about 800rpm.
should do the trick.
4. only 88-89 hatch seats will work in your car if im not mistaken. any other seat needs to be modded to fit in there.
5.k-sports are great. or some gr-2's with h&r springs if ur on a budget.
6.well you will have to cut and splice the integ cdplayer if you want it to work. but its easy man.
hope this helps...
oh and what did you adjust your valves to???i'm curious.

I adjusted them to OE specs according to my hood label. I think it was .20 and .25, intake and exhaust respectably.
