Has anyone changed an ignition switch on an 01 accord v6?

I have an 01 accord with an ignition switch problem (it shuts off while driving) and am wondering if the security system will know that it has been tampered with after I change it and keep it from starting. Has anyone else had this problem, if so did changing the ignition switch fix it, and did you have any problem doing it? Thank you all.

Check with the nearest Honda dealership, there is a recall on ignition switches.
