code 14 IACV can't get it to go away
So my car threw a code 14 on sunday, tried to fix it the next day, checked the wires and resetted the ecu, still nothing. Bought a used IACV from someone here on honda-tech just stuck that on, still nothing. Voltage reads 13.45 after I let the car idle for awhile till it dropped to around 700. Anything else I should check or do? Any help would be much appreciated.
Clean the connectors (harness mostly) with a small amount of brake cleaner or specific e- connector cleaner, then slap on a glob of dielectric grease
I had the same problem a few years ago - did that and no problems since

Just did as you suggested and then resetted the ecu again. Started it up and it idled at 300 or a couple of seconds then picked up and the cel came back on. Is there a way to test for a bad iacv?
1) Measure voltage between ground and the iacv voltage wire with the car in the 'on' position - got voltage?
2) Measure voltage between ground and iacv ecu pin, again in the 'on' position - got voltage?
3) From the ecu, provide connection between ecu ground and iacv pin - the iacv will click if its good (you will need someone to listen while you do that)
