Default AJP back @ the DYNO 430+ WHP

as the tilte states we put the car on the DYNO last night with some recent mods to our tried and proven setup that many of you are familiar with; we were able to push the envelope once again. these runs were made on pump gas for all those wondering. to start off we created an effiecient method for evacuating the excessive crank case pressure that far exceeds simply bolting on a catch can. the next move was to replace the already parasitic oil bump/balance shaft assembly with modified unit. this allowed us to stretch the rev limit to 9,000rpm easily without dropping oil pressure. the runs were we done up to a steady 15psi on the kit. these numbers more accurately reflect the production kits potentials than before because we opted for testing more based on what the market purchases each day. the return system remained the same as well as the original supplied 650cc injectors. the deceleration stalling issue is non existant on this kit. as most of you can see the torque curve is not erratic as some have experienced when posting issues with stalling. the stalling isses we have determined are more closely related to plug gap and current condition. when these issues are eliminated you will note smoother idle as well as much smoother curves on the dyno as far as both the hp and tq readouts are concerned.

The AJP Turbo Kit is very reliable. cars have been running with our kit for 8-12 months. This is all with the help of the Guys over at HONDATA that have helped with a reflash for this kit.

Yes we are using a reflash that is for internal testing. but the kits that we provide have a very safe and dependable reflash to them

What all mods do you have done to the car? I mean by internal buildup, and anything else you had to change to the stock drivetrain

Unless it's driven like a grandma, it won't. You really can't expect a nearly 500 crank hp 2.0 stock motor that had 200 stock to last over 5 years now can you? People who want a 500hp Civic are not looking to go 200k miles with just oil changes. If it lasts 2-3 years at that power level i'd say the motor has held up very well.

How available are these kits? I have heard some issues about the kit but, I do not want to sterotype. Seems like some good power and overall seems safe. Any input from anyone? Please let me know!

The only thing we have done is the modified oil pump to rev safley to 9000 and also the ventaltion for the motor.

The Turbo upgrade is for the stage II Turbo and the fuel return is for runing higher boost levels safely--->> The Si does not have a fuel return system so this helps to keep fresh fuel to the motor as well as cooling the fuel as it is not dead ended.
