I am looking for new suspension for my CRX time attack, auto-x, hpde, street car. I have been contemplating both for some time, but now it is time to buy, and I am still undecided. They will all be ordered in custom rates. Some first hand experience would be great. The PIC is about $300 cheaper, is Koni worth the extra cash, or save the money, and buy the PICs? My friend has the Koni Race units on his Auto-xer, and swears by them. I've ridden in it too, it was the best handling crx I've ever been in. These PIC guys seem to be doing well to though.

ive also riden in a hatch with this set up, and second thats its the best handling honda ive been in. i would personally go with the konis knowing that there already a good combo, and that redshiftmotorsports.com is there using the same thing and winning championships. ive never really heard any good or bad on pic's side though. imo koni/gc

all i can say is that my car feels 1000% better. it turns in and rotates like a dream.
i'm still on old bushings and the stock sway bar. i cant wait to replace those two. i'll report back with the info.
i'm sure the pic will do the job too. try to find a car with them on or ask around in the other forums for experiences. you already know koni/gc to have proven their performance. good luck with your decision

Ive rode/driven in civics with both on street and on track. I love the PIC's and they are also local to me and my favorite shop FACTORY5. the extended top hats in the PICs really help when your slammed. I vote pic

And where would that be? We got lots of PIC lovers responding but none of the Koni guys are responding. I'm gonna call PIC on Monday, and depending on the outcome of the conversation I might have them on the way.

Is this Fred or Brian R.? If not ask them what they are running. They seem to be very knowledgable. Maybe make a post in the rr/ax forum. It seems like the really good drivers only visit that forum and they probably know more about suspesion than MOST of the guys in this forum.

I know there are several of the HC drivers who use PIC with no problem. I have been using Koni's since the days you had to pull them off the car to adjust them. I have never had a problem with them. Lee Grimes, who works for Koni lurks in the Road race forum and in the "sandbox" forum also. May want to check in suspension forum also, even though most of those guys seem to be strive for the look
