I just bought a 1989 crx si and opened the sunroof and now it will not close. I believe it is in the switch but i am not positive. Any help will be appreciated.

 

yeah its probably just the contacts on the switch need to be cleaned. carefully pry it out and open it up.

you can manually close the sunroof with a hex key under the plug in the headliner near the sunroof motor.

 

where exactly is the plug so that i can close it and than try to fix it. Its been raining alot over here.

 

behind the sunroof opening. plastic round plug. pry it off.

 

Well I had a lil of the same problem and all what I did is put an NEW button... IDK if your sunroof is like solid open or if it's this the button.

 

after cleaning the terminals if that still doesnt work, check the fuses and wiring.
