Default sweet jebus need help quick!

yesterday while driving my distributor went "bad" in my 90 crx si (stock) code 15.

it had a diff battery in it from my other crx which has a d16z6. The datteries have diff crank amps listed on them. I swapped the batteries bakc ti thier original cars: my 90crx si with the code 15 started fine , drove fine, idled good too. I oculdnt get it to run for more than 10 seconds yesterday if it even started at all once it broke donw.

so now with the batteries back the way they were, it runs fine. that possible?

also: i replaced my timing belt, the car starts rough, idles rougher than normal, and when driving, it has crap acceleration at 3k+ rpm.

need help FAST!

your also: question sounds like timing issues. you're not a tooth off on the timing belt are you?

also, swapping the batteries just cleared the code... probably didn't really fix anything.

i disconnected the battery yesterday constantly when messing with the distributer. the code would be gone for a few seconds then the car idled bad then quit. But today with a diff battery (the one its always had) it ran fine. Yesterday was the ONLY day i had a diff battery in it.

ran the car today for 10 min nonstrop. was fine
