Default Mud Drag Racing

I'm going on vacation to PR and a cousin of mine wants to take me to a Mud Drag Racing track to check out an event. I never heard of that type of drag.
Do we have a track like this in the states?

Here is a video

I have several friends that mud race. One of them is currently prepping his 'yota for me to put a cage in it. We are going to put a fogger on it. We were talking about putting a turbo setup on it but he would be in some crazy class, lol. We have three tracks in mid Ga.

had to be a guy from nj, perth amboy of alllll places.... but this sport is pretty sick, they have top fuel dragsters that do this, they only do an 1/8 mile, but they still get to around 200 mph, pure sickness

mud drags and truck/ tractor pulls... some of my favorites, not to much around here locally but I catch them covered online or on tv as much as possible.

The NMRO site has the class breakdown for the mud drags http://www.nmro.net/mud_drags.html .

We have them up here in South Dakota and Minnesota as well. I used to go to these all the time when I was younger. Pretty interesting to watch.

Sand drags going on in San Jacinto all the time. At the casino. All kinds of cool stuff, including VW and some Sport Compact stuff.
its 330 feet, and not mud, but damp sand and dirt mixture.
No burnouts, but huge rooster tails when the cars launch.
We do coverage of some of the events on Speed Scene Live at
