I searched. 1995 Civic.
Someone thought it would be fun to punch out my driver's side door lock and trunk lock a few weeks ago. They didn't get in. The car is now for sale and some potential buyers are hesitant to buy a car in this condition. I'm wondering if I should try the repair or sell as is. I am in no rush for a sale.
How expensive would the replacement for these 2 locks would be:
with locks from a junk yard with seperate keys
with locks from a dealer, keyed the same as the vin

Pretty easy, pull the interior door trim panel and you'll have access to the backside of the door handle. From there, you just pull a clip to free the lock cylinder.

++2 also if you take your new lock tumbler and your old lock tumbler to a lock smith they can repin them to work with the same key you already have. Its only a few bucks to do.

Thanks again. I was afraid to call and find out it would be expensive. This will help, no more "I'll give you 2500 because of the locks. . "
