Default Problem after Problem

I dont know if some of you have read my first post about my h22 in an eg running too rich, well yesterday i had my tuner come down for street tuning, he wired up in the injector resistor that i was missing and the car runs mint on idle, but once you give it gas, there seems to be a rev limiter at 1500 rpm(this is what it sounds like) the program that is being used to tune is chrome, it is showing a fuel cut at this rpm, the tuner put a ridiculous amount of fuel at that rpm(im guessin around 50%+ extra) still the program shows theres a fuel cut and runs extremely lean at 1500... if you give pedal to the floor, some how it passes this "rev limit" and runs normal....we tried a million different programs and computers and got the same result....any ideas would be great...thanks

either ignition timing is jacked or he put way to much fuel in the tables. Is he using a wideband when he is tuning your car? It sounds like he is just trial and erroriing it, might want to get another tuner.

ya he is using a wideband, and this guy knows what he is doing(he tuned all of my buddies cars and ive seen results, they run amazing) he said this is the first time he has ever encountered this problem, im thinking that the injectors are damaged from not running the resistor for soo long, also it might be that my fuel injector part of my harness is hacked to ****, im debating if i should rewire my injectors out of the harness and just straight to the comp and the resistor.....thankz...

so i re-wired the injectors properly....using the bible for the prelude(shop manual), still im gettin the fuel cut at 1500.... i think the injectors are on thier way out bc they have been noisy since day one but since the dumb mechanic ripped my resistor out a while ago, they have been gettin louder and louder, i think the coils in the injectors got damaged from the high current of electricity flowing through them and the polarity was wropng until i fixed it, any idea would help, my car is ready to o on the road and get tuned but this one little problem is stopping me...thanks alot

Has to do with Either MAP or TPS sensor if its doing that at 1500. I somewhat recently had trouble with both of those, and it would cause me to hit what felt like a 2-step at about 1500-2000 RPM, otherwise it reved normal. Made for some pretty jerky driving at that RPM, lol.

ya we did have a problem with the map not too long ago, it wasnt gettin a reading but we fixed that, also while the tuner was down the other day he was telling me that my tps is out of calibration.......also, i have no iac, so the stop screw on the tb is open a little bit so air can get in on idle, will i have to re-calibrate so that on idle the computer thinks the tps is fully closed?? thanks

if you are running a Low impedance injector on a Saturated drivers(honda ecu) without a resistor box, you are risking damaging the injector driver in your ecu, since it will draw too much current from your box and burn the driver. try another known working ecu, and wire the injector right with the right resistor box.

ya everything is wired up with the injectors and resistor properly, i have come to the conclusion that it is my tps bc i was changing with the calibration today and i was able to kill the fuel cut at 1500, but now the engine light is on and im gettin code 7(tps if im not mistaken) and code 36(eld if im not mistaken)....... tomorrow im gonna do some more tampering with the tps and tb stop screw and a couple other things and see what happens....thanks

all i am saying is the ecu might be damage on the injector driver, so check it out with another ecu to double check if the ecu is working right.
