White smoke coming out of car only when pushed hard. ocassional idle problems. no milky stuff under cap. and i dont believe is a head gasket problem. and thinking that if its blown piston it would be black smoke instead. what is wrong?

white smoke is usually coolant. what makes you think its NOT a head gasket problem? you can still have a blown head gasket and have no oil on the radiator cap or in the cooling system. leak down test will give you your answer. "blown piston" and Im pretty sure your car will barely idle, if it even starts.

 

thanks! anybody know a cheap place selling spoon pistons, head gasket, and cam gears for cheap?? figue if im gonna take off the head might as well make is worth it.

how much power would i get from spoon piston, cam gears and head gasket?? im hoping around 300 to 350
