Default Putting a factory sway bar on a Std. Civic hatch?

I searched the FAQ for the sizes of sway bars and found that my hatch apparently doesn't have a front sway bar since it is a standard model. If I found a higher level civic and took the sway bar off of it, would it be a direct fit on my car? Thanks

not a direct bolt-on - the STD lower control arms have no place to bolt the sway bar onto

Yes I think the above guy was thinking about the rears.

BTW bigger front sways are not always better. I would recommend the hollow HF unit. You want a big back bar, and a small front.

yea, I'm looking to put on a front sway bar and if i find a rear it would be cool too. So could I get one off of a sedan or something and just transfer the brackets and stuff and just bolt it onto my car without havening to drill anything?
