If your still running obdo, then you'll need a crx/civic si dizzy, along with the intake mani, fuel rail, etc etc. I'd also recomend looking for a si throttle cable. Then you gotta do all teh wire harness stuff and ecu.

to do the multi swap you will need intake manifold, ecu and matching distributor. D16y7's never came dual point, but they came with a funny intake manifold that resembles dual point. Somebody probably just put the 88-91 dpfi manifold on the y7 to simplify the swap. Its just like doing an mpfi conversion on a stock DX EF

you obviously have no idea how to do the swap if you dont know what parts are needed.

it just didnt make sense that they put a 96 y7 in my car and put the 91 dx dual point mani on it.

It can make certain sense from a certain perspective.

If I had a fresh y7 motor and I wasn't interested in purchasing a manifold, TB, ecu, wire harness for parts and dizzy, I'd continue to run the DPFI manifold and enjoy the clean running motor.

If you want to do the mpfi swap, do a search.

If you want to swap the head for y8, locate a y8 intake manifold, and do a mpfi swap.
