i have a pretty much freshly built gsr motor w/ pistons, rods and a little head work that is burning oil. the guy that built it is extremely slow and unavailible much of the time. i did a compression test and 2 of the cylinders are way down, followed by a wet test to see if it was the rings (which im guessing it is now). it has taken 10 months to get to this point (ive driven the car about 200 miles so far) and im just pissed off enough now to just eat the money ive sunk into it at the current builder's place and just go somewhere else (it's on him to fix the current problem, but i dont want to wait another 3 months for him to get around to it). can anyone point me in the right direction where i can just get new rings installed and get it on a dyno to tune it? any idea how much i would be looking at to have rings installed? im in daytona beach, and kinda need some place close by (i guess orlando wouldnt be out of the question). any ideas?
