widest tire width on stock accord 6 spoke rims
quick note...
it's VTEC not VTECH
also, if it's the stock 94-97 EX rims it's a 15x5.5 +55 7 spokes.
You should be able to fit a 205 wide tire on there.

a 205 will fit but i wouldnt recomend it. im assuming you want to throw on 205s for more grip, but the rim is too thin for the wider tires, your sidewall will look like this /__\ and during hard cornering your sidewall will be more lifely to roll over, decreasing overall cornering grip. not to mention making your steering feel sloppy.
for a 205 width tire you would want AT LEAST a 6 inch wide wheel. POS_CD5 is right your sidewall would like similar to a balloon. Well thats what we call it at Just Tires. The best size for a 15x5.5 would be a 195/55/15 if you want a lower profile tire with the most grip.

i agree with the tire 195/55/15,
i just bought the car and it has some huge tires, 205/66/15 i think
just asking if it was safe or if i should go get the right size tires

if your not driving it hard or anything and just take it easy it should be ok. you can wait it out and then buy the proper size, its up to you.

will rubbing be a big issue?

For sure there are better tires available but none even come close to the price range of the 615 Azenis. next best tire is a least 100 bucks more
