Default The infamous One Wheel Spin!!!

Boy oh boy did i take lsd for granted in my last two cars.

I just got some bfg's on my k20a2 EG and im trying to get them to really hook. But as usual i am getting the one wheel passenger side spin which smokes out that tire grear, but nothing on the driver side.

My question is, when i do a launch, is only my passenger side grabbing the traction and putting down the power, or does the drive side help as well?? Maybe not as much???

Is there anything i can do to get that driver side wheel spinning so i can heat it up a bit???

I pulled 2.07 60's last night and im just starting out with these tires, but i want to get good and pull the 1.90's like some of you crazy ***** do on these tires.

Thanks guys in advance!

---Joe

I use this technique only broke axles a couple times, made for a bad night at the track, but then again that's why you buy the autozone axles with lifetime warranty.

Hmmm, i dont think i can get autozine axles that work in my application. And i dont want to weld the diff.... its a street car.

I guess i will just deal with it this season. I dont have the funds, or time to be doing an lsd install. Just out of curiosity, whats the price on the OBX piece?

lower the tire pressure on the one side that is spinning about a lb or raise the one that doesn't spin by 2-3 lbs always worked for me with a open diff.

so there not exactly the same and just off but no more than 3lbs of air.

also try stayin in the water box (towards the end of it though )once you see smoke from both sides drop the ebrake as your still spinning the tires and roll through.
