Installed a new pan and gasket on my d15b7 a few weeks ago. The pan came off of 88-91 dx block. Fit's nicely, but now when starting up i hear a strange whining sound. Almost like a power steering whining sound.. What is this sound? Oil pump ready to go out? Or is the pickup to close to the bottom of the pan? Seems to be fine once the oil is nice and warm.
