Default First and Reverse gear problem help please

I have the difficulty getting into these two gears, I have had this problem since I bought my car two years ago, I always have to restep the clutch in order to get in reverse gear. Is anything wrong with these two gears? or is soemthing wrong with my engine mount or transmission mount? please help, thanks!

Reverse is a classic Integra quirk - you're not alone.

I put it in 4th, ease up on the clutch to spin the gears, and it pops right into Reverse.

my EF had the same prob...

it's habit for me now to got to shift into 1st gear then to reverse. Goes in much sm00ther

if you have difficulty getting into 1st, then restep the clutch pedal and try again. works for me.

I have the same problem. I usually put it in first and roll foward a little then put it reverse or if on a hill just roll back a little then hold it down and feel it click into reverse. I have also had problems between third and second. I bleed the clutch system and it will be fine for a while. I bleed the clutch and change the fluid about every 1500 miles. I don't have no air in the system but the fluid turns black and leaves a residue in the resivore. I have taken it to the dealer and they couldn't find nothing wrong with but I had to bleed in order to make it there. I thought that maybe it was heating up and tried some ate super blue. but that didn't last as long as the honda dot3. I talked to a tech that worked at acura and he told me that they were replacing the brake fluid in the clutch systems when vehicles were coming in for normal service intervals. He didn't know why though.
