I unno if its jus my girl, but when i have the top down she bitches about her hair er allergies. and im forced to put the top up cuz i dont really feel like hearing her bitch, and i dont feel like driving her car (2.0 jetta) er having her drive her own car. my girl only complains when i go top down and its like less than 60 out. so i comprimise by rolling up the windows and turning on the heat on the highway. otherwise she knows it a privlage to not only have me as a boyfriend, but also a huge privilage to be invited to ride in my car. I tease her when i see an amazingly hot girl, that if she doesn't quit yelling at me about something, then (i point to the girl) something like her is going to be riding next to me. she quickly shuts up, because she knows that i could, and would do it.

I took this one chick from work for lunch in it. She wanted the top up. She kept explaining to me how I'm going to blow up my engine (apparently she never heard an engine going over 3000rpm). I also apparently drive very rough.

Yeah, she won't be coming with me anymore.

My chick also complained once when I did a U-turn and I let the rear end get a little loose. I didn't take her in the car for a couple weeks after that.

Now she's cool. Top down, even on the highway, and she learned to trust my driving. And besides that, she loves the car. I used to drive her around in my CRX, so it's definitely a step up for me and for her, from a chick's point of view.

i just make sure i have a hair tie in the car. she usually doesn't care if she gets to tie her hair or if its not too hot out.

 

I have a wife that rides in my car. After her griping about the top down messing up her hair, I got her a huge silk scarf. Works great and she looks like Jackie-O with shades. But sometimes now she wears a striped one and sports a muslim woman look. That's when I tell her to sit kinda low.
