awwww
what a waste of ITR...he ruined it with the seats, the intake, the turn signals, muffler, alarm siren...
He shoulda left it the way it was. I'd buy it, store it and take the bus around, take it out in 50 years and it'd be a rare sight.

It makes me laugh whenever i see a comment like yours.
As an ITR Collector (I currently own 3 of them), it makes no sense to me to not a drive a car and keep it "stored" away. I dont know about you, but personally I don't admire automobiles sittin in the garage. There is a key to the car for a reason.
Keep in mind, why these cars are well respected and carry the value they have today, because of people who got to experience Honda's great creation and use them for Honda built them for.
Last, If your only motive and investment in life is to store a car away for 50 years (who knows if you'd even live that long?) to make 20-30k.
I truly feel sorry for you.
You're never promised tomorrow, and I'd be pretty ticked if I was in heaven lookin down at "wise" guy who is driving the car I let sit while I was on earth.

Everyone has a different way of enjoying something. While to you it may be driving the car, to others it may be admiring such an item in the garage.
Not saying the R will be a huge collectors item one day, but you never know. Did anyone forsee that an original low-miles Plymouth Hemi Cuda would fetch over half a million dollars at auction 35 years later?
To each their own. Frankly I'm glad some people choose to save items, because that means future generations can enjoy them as well.
Give the guy a break.

im not trying to start anything but on the nwp4life forum erick dickerson is the one who owns three itr's. and on here you say you own them and your title says freeman so im just going by that. i actually think its two itr's and one siR thats badged as a type r but thats just my opinion, reason i say that is cause of that big gaping hole for the intake on the inside fender wall (which all itr guys no that theres no hole like that in the fender wall of an itr) and plus the vin tag doesnt match the the vin on the firewall. but who knows, i could be wrong but i doubt it.

My opinion ^^^ I never said, that you need to feel the same way. Do what you want with "your" car.

I own 3, possibly goin on 4. I'm more a little low key then Edick, but if you did as much investigation on my life (like you do on Edicks), Im sure you'd reverse your comment.

We have come to conclusion that possibly some of the earlier modeled 96 spec ITR's (with Bigger ABS modulater) came with the hole on the side. I have seen beyond handfuls of Clips to verify this. Think what you want bud
With our source of ITR's, Do you really think Edick would go through a fullblown ground up Resto. to Pseudo an ITR?
Heres an example of another ITR, Is your next comment gonna be "Redzones ITR" is fake?

You're my hero.
You're my hero.
Ok, maybe I was a bit extreme. I wouldn't let it sit, that's for sure, but I wouldn't mod anything on it. I did exaggerate a bit too much, but I think if the car was kept for 20 years, mainly garage stored, then it would be really nice to see it on the days you take it out. I wouldn't sell a car like this is I owned one.
