Default 55psi vs. 48 psi?

in terms of fuel pressure

whats the difference if the car is tuned for either 55psi and 48psi? is there a benefit with higher pressure?

more fuel rail psi = more fuel allowed into the intake mani when the injectors open = richer running engine. (less = leaner)
If it's tuned leave it alone.

advantage of raising the psi, push more fuel into an engine if you're maxing out the injectors. Disadvantage, runs the fuel pump hotter and shortens its life.
