ya the K20 motor is made to be all motor so that would be your best bet. simple bolt-ons (I/H/E/K-Pro) will put you down into mid to hight 13's. A Turbo will get you quick horses but you gotta make sure you do it right. I say all mota

what are your goals?

Most likely the bolt ons wont be enough for you if you're looking for serious power.
Most likely a good turbo setup will be to expensive for you.

Sit down and think about what you want, then tell us what route you choose.

If you want to go boost, I'll trade motors with ya since I'd like to go NA. 300+ whp out of a stock A3 isn't difficult.

I'm not exactly serious ... but anyway, it's still in my EP3, and about to cross 55,000 miles (owned it since new). It's had oil changes every 3000 miles, and with Mobil 1 since about 35 or 40K.

I think you'd be crazy to swap a K20A3 into a Type-S, though. Although I'd prefer NA on your car (and, IMO, you can get plenty of useable power out of it; anything much more would be pointless in many situations away from the dragstrip), it's good for a LOT of boosted power.

if your goal is 350whp
that's more in turbo's territory
s/c are normally 250-310whp
turbos can dish out 250-??whp
the only n/a rsx that hit 300whp i've seen was in a magazine
not worth staying all motor at 300whp in my opinion

300 whp na would be awesome but would cost WAY too much. Probably double the cost of a turbo pushing 350+ whp.
