Default Project : Type - R Turnover!

Now I know my civic was never a type-r but I wanted to convert my current 95 Civ Dx Coupe into a type-r look-a-like. Now please dont flame me I just like the style of the car and the way it looks with the color scheme and layout and the engine. Now I even want to swap in a type-r engine and use only color type type-r colors and stock look. So please guys, tell me where do I start with this long drawn out project?

Typer was a hatch, you have a coupe. Just buy a typer, itll be cheaper.

Well considering the Type R Civic was only made from 1997 (late models) to 2000, there would be no way you could have a Type R.

Do what you want with your car because after all its yours and no one elses. If you want Honda-Tech's opinions, just look in the appearance section.

And to answer your last question, in my opinion, just make it a clean stock looking car with OEM and JDM accessories. As far as motor, thats up to you because there are many different platforms to go with and it depends on what you want to accomplish.

They never made type-r Eg's son.

Just make it white and offset everything with red. Red emblems, red valve cover, red wheels/lugnuts etc etc.

Type-r engine is fine if you want to go N/a. But a motor is a motor so get what's suitable for what you want to do with the car.

For a track *****/weekend warrior I'd do a type-r or an H2b in the eg.

For drag just boost something.

Eh?
