Default Miata wheels?

Anyone ever try running Miata wheels on their CRX? There is a local guy selling some 14"x5.5" "daisy" wheels with some Kumho Victoracers for a good price, thinking about picking them up for autocrossing. The offset is 45, I'm thinking they should fit?

The center bore is 1 or so mm too small. It will either need to be bored out larger, or you'll need to use a spacer to clear it.

When I get the center bored, how critical is it to get the diameter just right? Are our cars hub-centric or lug-centric?

Exact is best, but bigger will be fine. The lugs will center them if you use the proper type of seat (the miata ones are either rounded like honda or conical like aftermarket wheels, I dont know the answer to that one)

The center bore is to small for civic's you can bore it but it needs to be center or you'll have a wheel that shakes try it and post the out come...MOE@HYPER16VALVE...

They are for the track, have race rubber, and are a good price. They could look like giant gay teddy bears for all I care.

Yea I didn't know about the center hole being smaller and I put a pair on my crx, tried driving and got all sorta of weird vibratinos and noises lol. A hole saw will do the trick, and don't use the same lugs, I forget, I thin they are acorn (call up discount tire they will tell you).

bolt pattern: 4x100
seat type: cone (aftermarket type works, but it's a very shallow lug hole)
offset: 45
bore: 54.1mm
weight: 12.6 lbs

you have 2 options... go to pepboys and get their 5mm spacers (should be around $10/each), or you can have the bore enlarged to 56.1mm (honda spec). people have used dremels and other home equipment for it but your neighborhood machine shop can do this easily and shouldn't cost a lot either. the wheels are hubcentric so why not do it right?
