Default What spring rates for Koni/GC combo?

I'm about to place an order for the Koni/GC combo and was curious as to what spring rates I should go with? The car will be mainly 90% street/10% track. I'd like something aggressive and sporty but not all out.

I performed a search already and the figures are all over the place. Some have higher spring rates up front while some have higher in the rear, for instince 400 ft/500 rear is one I saw a few minutes ago.

What are the advantages/disadvantages of a stronger front rate vs. a stronger rear rate?

i'm a noob in suspension, but you want stronger rates in front because it's heavier.

its oversteer vs understeer. stiffer front = more understeer
stiffer rear = more oversteer. with an FF you want a little more oversteer.

read up here, although its a track build up you can get a little bit of an idea of what you want.

I'm running 420f/350r on my DD. I haven't taken it to the track yet, but i am really happy with the rates. The car is stiff, but no where near annoying.

I'm taking it to the track this friday. I'll let you know how it feels.

i went 400f/500r. i absolutly love it. it corners real nice and the stiffness is not bad. i daily drive it on some of LA's nastiest freeways.

cant wait to take this bitch out to the track

I did 450f/400r. If you dont like the setup, you can always swap front to rear. I went with this setup since i am running it with 3/4 from full soft up front and 1/2 turn from full stiff in rear. On a stiffer setting up front, sterring is super responsive. On my setting now, it is dialed back a bit.

I like it.
