Default Questions for the Fiji Blue Pearl Civic Coupe Owners!!!

I've purchased a grill for my 2007 Fiji Blue Pearl civic si coupe. I need to get it painted to match the body color. I've provided the paint code to the guy who is painting my grill. I obtained this paint code from the side of my driver's side door. The paint code is B529P-4. However the guy who is painting my grill contacted me and told me that there are TWO paint codes under the name of "Fiji Blue Pearl" from Honda and they are both "B529P-4"!!! One of them is a darker shade and the other one is a lighter shade.

I'm aware that the 2005 civic coupe also come in Fiji Blue Pearl. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find a 2005 FBP civic coupe around my area and park next to it to compare colors. And a lot of the times pictures can't do justice when it comes down to finding the correct color. So my question is does anyone here know for sure which color is the darker shade and which is the lighter shade? I need to know ASAP! Thanks for your help!!

To me if the #'s are the same they should be the same exact color. I dont think one should be darker than the other.

btw, you posted in the wrong section. have your painter paint a sample piece with each paint, see which one matches better.

How did I post it in the wrong section? I'm asking for 2005 FBP civic coupe owners a question or opinion.

Anyone else?

opps, in your original post you said "2007 civic si coupe" and in your sig it says "FG Squad" which led to my statement of you posting in the wrong section, didn't read the section about the 2005's. my bad

According to the link you provided, it tells me to use the 11th character of my VIN# to obtain the correct color code. On my door jam it says "Color Code: B529P-4", but the 11th character of my vin # is H. So does that means my paint code should be B529P-H then?
