JDM POWER FOLDING MIRROR HELP!
Recently, I've purchased a set of Power Folding Mirror. The person I got them from stated they were EF9 Civic mirrors, but from my understanding only EF8 CRX Sir have folding mirrors. I'm sure EF9 or EF8 will fit the same anyways.

It didn't comes with a direction or wiring diagram, I've found this diagram from online:

All of the component matches; wiring colors, switch, relay, etc.. But based on the wiring diagram above, only 5 wires suppose to wire up on both left and right mirrors. However, both mirrors I got have 8 wires like so and neither of the 8 wires color matches from the diagram as well.

From what I'm guessing, maybe the extra wires are for either parking brake signal, or ACC signal some sort. If anyone has done, run into this same problem, or can verify of any help would be greatly appreciative. Thanks!!

crap, if my car wasnt in the shop, I would pull my mirriors out and take pics of the wiring for ya.
If You still need the wiring info after I get may car back, I will post some pics for ya.

Beware: Both EF9 (Civic) and EF8 (CRX) have different JDM folding mirrors.
1 bolt isn't interchangeable and the front-windscreen side of the mirrors have an different angel (as the Civic's front-windscreen is more up-right than CRX's).
For the wiring: maybe you have the heated one's?

Yup you're right, I acquired a custom CR-X JDM folding mirror harness a while back and the heated ones are a little different from what I know. I have the same diagram that you have.

After an indept research into this, I've found possibly they are both power folding and heated mirror. However, the previous owner wasn't able to find the switch for it, so possibly used just the folding mirror switch only (switch was easy to find). If any can clarify, or any help..please do!! Thanks!
Yes, I can get them to work, but I was just wondering what I'm dealing with. I'll just play around with them later and figure it out. Anyways, I just test fitted them onto my CRX earlier. All three holes and screws line up perfectly. However, it's not a fully flush look. The mirror assemblies are pushed back a little bit, but that's not a big problem. As you mentioned ROADXY, I think you are right these are Civic mirrors, they do uplift tower to the right, vice versa if it's passenger or driver's side. Thanks for the help everyone!

Ok I wired the mirrors up. The attracting folding mode works flawlesss, but adjusting mode doesn't work at all. I tested for continuity, voltage and found none out to the wires. Opened up the switch itself, and found a few broken taped-wires. So the bad news is finding another good working switch. More research lead me to conclusion that the mirrors I have are possibly to be both heated/folding. Someone out there must have these too as well that can help me out, I can seem to find a different correct diagram for it. Peace!

So the bolts line up right?

ive got a set of folding mirrors coming next week and i also have the heated elements that go behind the glass. there are two wires that go to each heater element on mine and they are both black. i have seen the switch on the folding mirrors and some have an extra stitch in the middle of the directional adjuster, but i also read somewhere that most heated mirrors were wired up to the rear heated screen from the factory
ROADXY, yes they bolted up and align perfectly, just that the ef9 civic mirror is a big smaller, so it got pushed back a little. Yes I have two black wires coming out from the mirrors. If you are able to get a diagram, let me know how that goes. Also, I need that folding/heated switch, I can't find it anywhere. Thanks!
Just remove and put it on. There are 3 bolts, and they all line up correctly atleast onto my 91 CRX. I finally figured out the wiring using a DVOM. Only 2 wires were left unused, I'm assuming that's for the heated option. I managed to fix my switch too with a little soldering work, however, I purchased another one just incase.
cool. i have the glass with the heater elements behind them but one side is broke so i will have to try and carfully transfer one of the heater elements to the original unbroken glass.
