Default Shift points for us dx owners

Can anyone here with a tach and a d17a1 tell me where all the shift points are pertaining to mph wise. So far i see that first is right around 27-29ish and second is somewhere around 55-60.

That seems pretty high... They should be in the owners manual

The shift points are typically around 3,000 rpm depending on how fast you need to accelerate (ie getting on the highway). I usually shift out of first at around 20mph, second around 35mph, and third around 45mph. I have an EX, and I'll have to check it out tomorrow.

well in my 03 ex maunal its says for best fuel economy and normal acceleration shift up and these points:

1st to 2nd: 15 mph
2nd to 3rd: 27 mph
3rd to 4th: 39 mph
4th to 5th: 53 mph

and all these shift points are around 3000 to 3300 rpm

My redline is at like 7-7.1k. I dunno why, it was like that when I bought it .
Here's how I do it on my LX, sometimes.
1st - 2nd 15
2nd - 3rd 22
3rd - 4th 30
4th - 5th 46
Or something like that, I don't really pay attention, I'm just guessing

Unless what is off? We are talking about daily driving, not running the gears out.

I don't know. The car was slightly modified when I got it (AEM pulleys, K&N filter, little things), Maybe there's something internally done, that I don't know about. Probably not though..

Early 7th gen EX's revved to 7000 or 7100...by '02 they trimmed it back to 6800RPM.

Get a 10" tachometer with an obnoxious shift light and run all the wiring through your doors.

i have an lx and shift:
1st - 2nd @ ~30
2nd- 3rd @ ~55
3rd-4th @ like 70?
4th pretty much takes me up to where fifth doesn't do anything.
that's driving pedal to the floor though.only mods are SRI that would matter
