no exterior sheetmetal parts are interchangeable between the coupe and the sedan

Perhaps you would care to inform us which parts you believe to be interchangeable?

Well of course the rear bumper doesnt..

The OP asked about the front bumpers, you guys said no or weren't sure. He asked about fitment, I'm telling you it fits. Sedan owners have done the full coupe conversion, bumper/hood/grill.

it would appear that you do not know what interchangeable means so let me inform you.

interchangeable means I can take a fender from a sedan and substitute it for a fender on a coupe. you cannot do so. you would have to change the fender, hood and bumper. No one said you could not do a front end conversion. we are saying you cannot interchange the parts....

so going by what you are saying with the OP then what you are saying is irrelevant because the OP asked about the front bumper.

Have you personally tried to fit a sedan fender on a coupe? Regardless of whether the fenders are interchangeable, the hood and bumpers will still swap w/ minimal gaps.

Okay... let me put it this way.

Fenders are identical between sedan and coupe.

Bumpers are obviously different by appearance.
Hoods are different to match the shape of the bumpers at the upper grill area.

I guess that depends on your definition of "minimal". For me, swapping a bumper w/o the hood or vice versa leaves a large gap. It makes everything look cheap and half-assed.

Swappable, not interchangeable. It's all semantics, really.
