Stupid question: can you swap a dseries engine into a teg the same way u can swap a bseries engine into a civic? Like will all the deseries parts [axles, linkages, mounts] fit a teg? or is it more of a one-way swap?
Considering buying an old junker teg and swapping the engine into my 98 civic, but would like to keep the teg driveable [by swapping the civic engine into it]
thanks

Yes, ive seen a singlecam (boosted Z6) in an integra before. It was a temporary get-around motor ( im assuming), but it can be done. I cant tell you the mounting situation tho, im not clear on it.
yes, you can. JDM DC/DB integras came w/ SOHC ZC VTEC option, and even SOHC ZC carb version.
yes, complete swap will be required, in your case from 98 you;ll also require 92-5 civic mounts, (back tranny mount) and side driver side body mount, becuase EK ones are different then DC/EG and will not work!

We attempted this one time being super bored, but we were not successful due to the back T bracket. Had we actually wanted to do this and not do it cause there was nothign better to do, we would have taken the subframe bar off and tried again. But yea i see it possible to be done.
